EZZ Life Science has launched its MeTime women's wellness range in Australia, supported by a supply partnership with Italian botanical ingredients company Bionap.

The range includes three products targeting stress, appetite and weight management, sleep, hormonal balance, and muscle recovery. Hunger Helper and Corti-Calm are due to launch in May, while Muscle Relief Magnesium is already on sale.

EZZ describes MeTime as a functional wellness range built around multi-ingredient formulations using clinically researched ingredients selected for synergy and bioavailability, with a focus on the body's regulatory systems.

Bionap will supply ingredients for the range. According to EZZ, the Italian group specialises in botanical extracts and has more than 30 years of research and production experience.

Key ingredient

One ingredient used in the new range is Morosil, a standardised extract derived from Moro blood oranges. EZZ said it has gained broad consumer attention in recent years through social media trends that generated tens of millions of views worldwide.

Morosil was evaluated in a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 102 volunteers over six months at a daily dose of 400mg. According to EZZ, the study found statistically significant reductions in body weight, waist circumference, and hip circumference compared with placebo.

Hunger Helper is positioned as an appetite suppressant and weight management product, containing Morosil and Reducose.

Corti-Calm is being marketed as an Australian-made functional food product for cortisol rhythms and stress regulation. Muscle Relief Magnesium is a magnesium-based formulation intended to support recovery, muscle relaxation, and stress balance.

Ingredient strategy

The partnership with Bionap adds a European ingredient supplier to EZZ's product development and sourcing strategy. EZZ said Bionap's research portfolio spans healthy ageing, metabolism, cognition, gut health, and cardiovascular function.

EZZ operates in consumer health and genomic life sciences, with stated focus areas including longevity, HPV, children's health, and weight management. MeTime extends that portfolio into women's wellness with products tailored to common health concerns.

The range is being sold through a dedicated website and supported by digital and traditional marketing. Distribution through major Australian pharmacy partners is expected to follow next month.

That pharmacy expansion would give the products a broader retail channel beyond direct online sales. It also places MeTime in a crowded supplements and functional wellness market, where evidence-based claims and branded ingredients are increasingly used to differentiate products.

Market context

Demand in the category has been shaped in part by social media-driven interest in specific ingredients, particularly those linked to weight management. Morosil is one such ingredient, and EZZ's use of a branded extract suggests an effort to combine consumer recognition with clinical data in its product positioning.

For Bionap, the deal provides another route into the Australian consumer health market through a listed local partner. For EZZ, it adds an externally developed botanical ingredient with published research behind it at a time when supplement groups face growing scrutiny over the scientific support for product claims.

EZZ General Manager Sarah Lawman said the agreement reflected the company's approach to formulation and sourcing.

"Our focus is on building products supported by credible research and high-quality manufacturing standards. Bionap's research depth and patented botanical extracts align strongly with EZZ's science-led philosophy," said Sarah Lawman, General Manager, EZZ Life Science.
