Constant AI has appointed Kristin Evans vice president of marketing as the fintech expands its work in agentic AI for regulated financial transactions.
Evans joins from Curql Collective, where she served as vice president of marketing and communications. There, she led investor marketing and pipeline strategy tied to a USD $360 million fundraise from credit union investors, described as the largest in the sector's history.
Her appointment gives Constant AI a senior marketing executive as it works to explain a product strategy centred on AI systems that do more than handle customer conversations. Its software is designed to complete financial transactions within regulatory and operational rules, starting with credit union loan operations.
Before Curql Collective, Evans was the fifth hire and founding head of marketing at EngageFI. Constant AI said she helped grow annual recurring revenue from under USD $1 million to more than USD $35 million over five years, while the business appeared twice on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies.
She also worked at Origence, where she oversaw demand generation across seven products. Constant AI said she was named Marketer of the Year in 2022 and led account-based marketing campaigns that produced a 47% SQL generation rate.
Growth push
The appointment follows a period of expansion as Constant AI pushes further into transaction processing for credit unions. This has included the launch of Nia, which it described as the first agentic AI agent to complete a skip-a-pay transaction from start to finish without staff involvement.
Constant AI has also been selected as the first fintech partner in Eltropy's Agentic AI Platform. The platform serves more than 750 credit unions across North America, giving the company a broader route into its target market.
The Portland-based company said its transaction infrastructure has handled more than 1.7 million automated transactions. It operates as a credit union service organisation owned by its parent entity, a structure it said aligns its governance with the credit union sector.
Catherine York Powers, chief executive officer and founder of Constant AI, outlined how the company sees Evans's brief.
"We built agentic AI to do something the industry hasn't attempted: execute the actual transaction, inside the rules a regulator would hold us to. Kristin's job is to help the market understand that distinction, because most financial institutions haven't seen what agentic AI looks like when it's actually allowed to act," said Catherine York Powers, chief executive officer and founder of Constant AI.
Evans said the company stood out because it had moved beyond broad claims about agentic AI to live use cases affecting customer accounts.
"There's a lot of noise right now about what agentic AI can do, and most of it is still theoretical. What drew me to Constant AI is that they've built software that makes real, compliant decisions on real accounts, at scale, today. And it shows up where it counts, as real relief for a member in a hard month. That's a bigger story than any one product category, and I'm absolutely thrilled to get to help tell it," said Evans.
