Constructor earns sole Customers’ Choice in Gartner report

Constructor said it was the only vendor named a Customer's Choice in the 2025 Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer for Search and Product Discovery report.

The Gartner Peer Insights Voice of the Customer reports compile feedback from end users who post reviews on Gartner Peer Insights. The report places vendors into four quadrants, including the Customers' Choice quadrant.

Gartner Peer Insights describes vendors in the upper-right Customers' Choice quadrant as those that "have scores that meet or exceed the market average for both axes (User Interest and Adoption, and Overall Experience)."

Ratings picture

Constructor reported receiving a 5-out-of-5 overall rating during the period covered by the report. The company also cited a 98% willingness-to-recommend score from end-user reviews. It said this was the highest among vendors evaluated in the report.

The company said the results were based on 25 reviews posted in the 18 months leading up to 31 October 2025.

In the report, Gartner defines search and product discovery technology as "applications that augment solutions to facilitate navigation, filtering, comparisons and, ultimately, selection of products". Gartner also said these applications "can provide the digital customer journey from landing on a website or app to finding the correct product and adding to basket."

Product focus

Constructor sells search and product-discovery software to eCommerce companies. It counts The Very Group, Sephora, Monica Vinader and White Stuff among its users, according to the company.

Constructor said its platform handles more than 10,000 personalised experiences per second. The company said it uses AI across search results, browse functionality and product recommendations. It also referenced retail media as part of its product set.

The company also pointed to newer products, which it described as agentic. These include an AI Shopping Agent and an AI Product Insights Agent, which will both support conversational search.

Constructor said these tools have "dramatically increased add-to-cart rates, purchase rates and conversion rates for leading retailers around the globe." For example, lighting retailer Lightopia saw a 52% increase in add-to-cart rate and 56% increase in purchase rate from shoppers who engaged with the AI Product Insights Agent.

Customer feedback

Constructor highlighted comments that it said came from customer reviews on Gartner Peer Insights.

One review said: "Constructor has been fundamental in improving our customer experience for site search, browse and product recommendations. In all areas, we have seen meaningful increases in the conversion rate and revenue per visitor."

Another review said: "Constructor has hands down had the best support and communication provided during the sales, contract and implementation phases. Their fast response times made our rollout smooth and frictionless."

A third review said: "Constructor has changed our lives for the better..."

A fourth review said: "Incredible support and world-class product."

Analyst coverage

The Customers' Choice designation follows other recent mentions of Constructor in analyst research, according to the company.

Constructor was named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Search and Product Discovery. It also said that, in the Gartner Critical Capabilities for Search and Product Discovery report, it was the only vendor to rank number one in three out of five use cases.
