Tenet launches Cubeler Business Hub in US for SMEs
Wed, 12th Aug 2026 (Today)
Tenet has released version 2.0 of its Cubeler Business Hub for small and medium-sized enterprises in the United States, expanding the platform beyond its existing Canadian SME base.
The new version allows US-based business owners and executives to register and access services including business opportunity recommendations, grant and tax credit matching, advertising, networking, market insights, and financing offers.
At the centre of the update is a system that analyses the financial data of registered SMEs and recommends potential commercial links between them. The recommendations fall into four categories: buyer-supplier, general partnership, referral, and shared resources.
Each recommendation includes a short description and an estimate of the annual revenue gain or cost saving it could generate. The feature has already produced more than 40,000 recommendations for Canadian SMEs on the platform, with a combined potential value of more than USD $1.4 billion in annual revenue and cost savings.
US expansion
The launch marks Tenet's push into the US small business market through Cubeler, which previously served Canadian users. Adding American SMEs also allows the system to identify opportunities not only between US firms, but also between businesses in the US and Canada.
The upgrade also includes a grants-matching tool that shows companies the government programmes for which they qualify. Tenet had originally expected the function to be available only to Canadian SMEs at this stage, but completed a US version in time for the release.
Citing figures from The Council for Community and Economic Research, Tenet said there are 2,536 state-run business grant and tax credit programmes in the US. It also pointed to about 900 active federal programmes listed by Grants.gov, bringing the total to roughly 3,400 schemes worth more than USD $50 billion a year for US SMEs.
Tenet said many small business owners are unaware of these programmes and therefore do not claim available funding. Through the updated platform, registered users can log in and view the grants and tax credits for which they are eligible.
Platform model
The Cubeler Business Hub is positioned as a business-to-business platform that combines data analysis with matching tools for commercial relationships and funding access. Alongside the new recommendation and grant features, existing modules cover product and service promotion, connections with other business owners, industry information, and access to pre-qualified lending and credit offers.
Tenet describes itself as the parent company of a group of financial technology and artificial intelligence businesses. Its subsidiaries provide analytics and AI-based services to businesses, capital markets professionals, government agencies, and financial institutions using data gathered through the Cubeler network.
The release also included further details on a separate investor awareness consultancy arrangement. Tenet said its two-month agreement with consultant Tatiana Perez began on August 1 and ends on September 30, at a total cost of USD $5,000.
According to Tenet, Perez had no prior relationship with the company before the deal and will not receive stock options or other securities under the agreement.
The scale of the opportunity recommendation tool offers an early indication of how Tenet intends to use a larger SME base as a source of commercial data and matching activity. More than 40,000 recommendations have already been created for existing Canadian users, with an implied annual value of more than USD $1.4 billion, according to the company.
